연구분야


암은 한국인의 사망 원인 1위의 질병으로, 주로 세포의 유전적인 돌연변이에 의해 발생하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구실에서는 PTM (post-translational modification)을 조절하는 enzyme 이나 microRNA, long non-coding RNA와 같은 non-coding RNA 가 어떻게 암의 발달과 전이를 조절하는지를 규명하고자 한다 . 이를 통하여, 암의 효과적인 치료를 위한 새로운 표적을 찾고자 하는데, 세포생물학, 분자생물학 그리고 마우스 유전학 등의 연구 방법을 활용하고 있다
